Kasugai Watermelon Gummy

Product of Japan. Purchased in Los Angeles. Firm gummy chew, fresh melon flavor. The individual wrapping helps some people (😁) not eat the whole bag at once.

Refresco Tutti Frutti

Purchased in Argentina. From the packaging, I was hoping these would be something like SweeTarts or maybe Mentos, but they're just hard candies. Also the "Tutti Frutti" flavor was more like bubble-gum.

Chewy RedHot Sizzling Sour Tamarind

Chewy RedHot Sizzling Sour Tamarind
While generally not a fan of spicy candy, these sounded interesting. They indeed taste like tamarind (despite being artificially flavored), and are satisfying to eat. Only mildly chewy, similar to Chewy Lemonheads or Mike & Ike, and with a soft candy shell, also similar to Mike & Ike. The "heat" is present but not particularly strong.
Overall, not something I would buy frequently, but could do again if I was in the mood for something different.

Dr. Pepper Licorice

Dr pepper licorice candy.

Pretty big disappointment. Texture is plasticy, flavor is nearly missing.
Definitely not a rebuy.

Kabaya maracas

Purchased in Japan. I don't know if 'maracas' is the real name, but some of the characters are holding them, so that's what I'm calling it. Gummy candy with a nice chewy bit to it. Flavors are okay, seems to get by more on the novelty factor. There's a packet inside which I thought might be a desiccant (do not eat) packet. From the picture directions on the back, it seems you're supposed to pour the powder contents of the packet into the package and shake the gummies in it. The powder didn't stick particularly well to the gummies; maybe you're supposed to lick them first. On its own, the powder tastes like Ramune (Japanese Sprite), but with a bit of menthol. Maybe that's the arctic animal theme. Speaking of arctic animals, polar bears eat seals. Maybe they shouldn't be packaged together.

Taomee cherry rings

Purchased in Taiwan. Soft gummy rings. "Cherry" was a guess based on the cartoon on the front of the package. Flavor is more like currant or just "red".

Cow Brand Milk Candy Purple Yam Flavor

Came is a bundle of about 12 of these individually wrapped little sticks. Nice flavor, but I don't really pick up on the yam, mostly tastes like condensed milk in solid form. Has a slight bite that gives way easily and disintegrates quickly in the mouth. 71
